The Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire sourcing and production lifecycle, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and maintaining quality and delivery performance.

Responsibilities Sourcing and Production Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end sourcing and production lifecycle from development through bulk delivery.
  • Lead vendor selection and management across fabric, trim, and finished goods suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and capacity commitments to meet margin and cost targets.
  • Own seasonal production calendars, placing commitments and driving execution to meet delivery dates.
Factory Management and Capacity Planning
  • Hold factories accountable for quality, on‑time delivery, and capacity commitments in partnership with Operations.
  • Own capacity planning across vendors to support demand fluctuations and business growth.
  • Drive corrective actions, vendor reallocation, or exits based on vendor performance.
Demand Planning and Inventory Execution
  • Partner with Planning to align production with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Translate demand into production plans, commitments, and supplier capacity needs.
  • Actively manage risk related to overproduction, stockouts, and lead‑time variability.
Logistics, Customs, and Compliance
  • Collaborate with Logistics to ensure efficient, compliant movement of goods.
  • Apply working knowledge of customs, tariffs, and trade regulations to minimize cost and disruption.
  • Support decisions on sourcing regions based on duty impact, lead time, and risk.
Product Development and Cross‑Functional Execution
  • Partner with Product Development and Quality on fabric and trim sourcing, costing, and feasibility.
  • Troubleshoot sampling, fit, and quality issues from lab dips through TOPs.
  • Ensure accuracy of tech packs, BOMs, and vendor data within the ERP system.
  • Create and refine product development processes to ensure proper costing and sourcing of materials for new products and appropriate inventory investment.
Team Leadership and Process Development
  • Lead and develop a team including Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Logistics functions.
  • Build and implement scalable sourcing, planning, and production processes.
  • Drive cross‑functional accountability across sourcing, planning, and operations.
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of sourcing and production experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Direct experience managing overseas factories, production calendars, and capacity planning.
  • Hands‑on experience with demand planning and inventory management, with a proven track record of in‑stock performance.
  • Experience navigating customs, tariffs, and international shipping considerations.
  • Industry experience with high SKU counts, including size, color, and style variations.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including direct reports, performance management, and process ownership.
Required Skills
  • Deep understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and capacity planning.
  • Strong negotiation skills across pricing, MOQs, lead times, and capacity constraints.
  • Ability to partner with Finance and analyze cost, margin, and inventory data.
  • Experience with ERP systems, tech packs, and production workflows.
  • Working knowledge of global trade, tariffs, and customs compliance.
