School Psychologist - Vernon Hills, Illinois

Make a daily impact as a School Psychologist working onsite just outside the Vernon Hills, IL area. This contract opportunity allows you to help preschool through 5th grade students via critical evaluations, shaping educational paths and fostering student growth in an encouraging, collaborative environment.

You will play a vital role in identifying student needs, partnering with educators and families, and ensuring access to appropriate resources and support services. A flexible caseload keeps every day engaging as you conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute your expertise in educational psychology.

• Must hold an active Illinois Psychologist License
• State Professional Educator License (PEL) for School Psychology (required)
• Demonstrated experience working in a school setting, ideally with preschool to 5th grade
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with the latest psycho educational assessment practices and tools

• Conduct a variety of psycho educational evaluations for students in preschool through 5th grade
• Work with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret evaluation data and develop actionable plans
• Provide expert consultation on student needs and assist with developing interventions
• Prepare and deliver reports to inform educational programming
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records
• Stay current with state and district guidelines, ensuring compliance
