Sr Application Developer, SAP

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sr.Application Developer, SAP for Rust-Oleum Corporation to work at our Vernon Hills, IL location. May telecommute 2 days/week.

• Participates on programming project teams for SAP ECC, BW + CPI systems.
• Supports technical end of ECC + BW application development and system implementation.
• Deploys and supports SAP CPI-based integrations.
• Supports technical implementation of SAP upgrades and support pack updates; investigates and resolves system and software (s/w) problems.
• Designs or writes program technical specifications based on project requirements.
• Builds integration flows in hybrid environments including on-premises and cloud-based apps across all integration styles and use case patterns.
• Configures pre-packaged cloud integration in SAP CPI using Web UI and Eclipse UI.
• Designs and builds custom integration flows using SAP CPI including SAP Cloud Connector.
• Configures and extends standard iFlows.
• Develops s/w and system support documents and procedures according to company standards and Sarbane-Oxley legal requirements.
• Conducts technical research with recommendations for action into IT-related topics.
• Modifies existing s/w to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
• Consults with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and s/w, develop specifications and performance requirements, and resolve problems.
• Prepares s/w programming and development documentation.
• Confers with data processing and project managers for information on limits and capabilities for data processing projects.
• Consults with customers and other departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues.
• May undergo a background check, including drug screening.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and five years related experience in SAP ABAP.
• Five years of experience in object management using SPDD and SPAU during hot pack and release upgrades.
• Experience with SAP modules SD, MM, FI, and PP.
• Experience with Groovy for iFlows.
• Three years of experience in system integration testing and SAP FI/CO.
