We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in Med‑Surg Adult to join our healthcare team. As a Med‑Surg Adult RN, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and quality care to adult patients in a medical‑surgical setting. Your primary responsibility will be assessing patient conditions, administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
Your dedication and expertise will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and improving the overall quality of care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine their physical, emotional, and psychological needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, recognizing deviations from baseline and implementing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients
- Provide direct patient care, including wound dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV administration
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication use, and post‑discharge care
- Respond to emergencies promptly, providing immediate intervention and following established protocols
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a comprehensive manner
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
- Continuously stay updated with the latest medical advancements and evidence‑based practices in Med‑Surg Adult Nursing
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and research as required
- Collaborate effectively within the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote seamless patient care delivery
- Foster a supportive and comforting environment for patients and their families during their hospital stay
