** The Opportunity
** Hologram Zoo Illinois is seeking an energetic Sales Associate to join our team at the Hawthorn Mall location (318 Hawthorn Center, Vernon Hills, IL 60061). This is a hands-on, on-site role for an individual who is passionate about sales, creating great guest experiences, and working with innovative technology in a fast-paced attraction environment.

** Plus performance-based commissions on sales (e.g., retail, upselling).

** What You’ll Do
**** Sales & Guest Experience
*** Be the face of the attraction, providing a warm welcome and memorable experience for every guest.
* Proactively sell tickets, group bookings (birthday parties, school groups), and retail merchandise to achieve daily sales targets.
* Handle all point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Engage with guests on the floor, providing clear instructions and technical briefings for the holographic experience.
* Assist in maintaining a customer-obsessed culture, personally handling minor guest issues and ensuring a positive outcome.
** Operations & Technical Support
*** Assist the Venue Manager with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the venue is show-ready.
* Monitor all equipment (hologram projectors, A/V, lighting, and POS systems) and report any technical issues to the Venue Manager.
* Help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and visual presentation of the venue.
* Assist with inventory counts for retail merchandise and ticketing supplies.
** Team & Professionalism
*** Support the Venue Manager in all daily operations.
* Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor at all times.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including guest safety and emergency protocols.
** Schedule & Work Environment
*** This is an

** role based at Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills, IL.
* Flexibility is required for a schedule that includes
** evenings, weekends, and holidays
** aligned with family entertainment demand.
* Role involves extended periods of standing and walking on the floor, operating equipment, and occasional light lifting (up to approximately 25–30 lbs).
** Qualifications
* ** Minimum
** 3 years of experience
** in a customer service, sales, retail, or entertainment attraction environment.
* A proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals is highly desirable.
* Comfortable interacting with and operating technology (POS systems, A/V equipment).
* Strong
** communication skills**, both written and verbal, with a friendly and engaging personality.
* Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
* Must be willing and able to work a
** flexible schedule
** including nights, weekends, and holidays typical of an entertainment attraction.
