Part Time Retail Merchandise Associate

Home Goods, a division of Widgets Co, is seeking a Part Time Retail Merchandise Associate to support our manufacturing-driven retail operations. In this role, you'll assist customers, stock and organize merchandise, and maintain visually appealing displays that showcase our innovative home and industrial-inspired products. You'll process transactions, help with inventory and shipment processing, and ensure a clean, safe store environment. Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating and selecting home merchandise on the sales floor
• Stock, organize, and replenish shelves and displays according to merchandising standards
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle returns or exchanges
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment, including fitting rooms and aisles
• Receive, unpack, and tag incoming merchandise from the warehouse
• Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or discrepancies to supervisors
• Follow company policies on loss prevention and customer service
• Collaborate with team members to set up promotions, signage, and seasonal displays
• Provide product knowledge to customers and suggest complementary items
• Support opening and closing procedures as assigned by store management
