Part Time Retail Merchandise Associate

Home Goods, a division of Widgets Co, is seeking a Part Time Retail Merchandise Associate for our backroom operations. In this role, you'll receive, sort, and organize incoming merchandise, tag and prepare items for the sales floor, and help maintain accurate inventory. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring products are safely handled and efficiently moved to the floor. Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and organize incoming merchandise in the backroom according to company standards
• Tag, label, and prepare products for placement on the sales floor
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation to ensure product accuracy and freshness
• Move merchandise safely from backroom to sales floor using appropriate equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized backroom and work area
• Follow company procedures for handling damaged or returned goods
• Collaborate with store associates and supervisors to meet stocking and merchandising deadlines
• Provide occasional support on the sales floor as needed, including customer assistance
