Off-Duty Police Officer (Armed Security)

Salary Range: $35.00 - $35.00 per hour

Shift: Any (Part Time/Weekends With Some Week Days/ Day Shift Available)

Hourly Pay: $35 per hour with opportunities for advancement.

• Secure the main entrance
• Access control and serve as a visible deterrent
• Respond to emergency situations that may arise
• Help de-escalate potential conflicts
• Assist at the direction of client management
• Protect the general welfare of staff, clients, and visitors
• Provide a positive presence and visible deterrent to crime and violence
• Act as the first line of response during an emergency, notifying local law enforcement and staff as quickly as possible
• Identify and report safety concerns
• Maintain communication with all appropriate Blue Line and client personnel
• Document activities, findings, and incidents when necessary
• Comply with legal requirements to maintain Blue Line's stability and reputation
• React appropriately in emergency/crisis situations
• Be customer service-oriented and professional at all times
• Pay close attention to detail
• Communicate with team members and clients as needed
• Meet all team deadlines and responsibilities, listen to others, and cooperate
• Perform any additional duties as required
• Other responsibilities and duties may be required related to the position

A strong work ethic, punctuality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service are required. Off-duty police officers must be qualified, motivated, and dedicated. As part of Blue Line's team, officers are expected to represent a security force, but an approachable one to help clients, staff, and visitors feel safe while maintaining a positive attitude and environment.
