Position:
Percussion Instructor/Supervisor – RHS Marching Band
The Percussion Instructor/Supervisor leads the drumline and pit percussion section, organizing and executing all aspects of the fall marching band season for the percussion section.
Duties include:
- Teaching and supervising at summer camp rehearsals.
- Instructing and supervising the RAM Band drumline and pit percussion during band camp.
- Instructing and supervising the RHS RAM Band drumline and pit percussion during all fall marching band evening rehearsals and Saturday season camp days.
- Supervising the RHS RAM Band drumline and pit percussion during away competitions and all home football games.
- Supervising and instructing students in all aspects of the drumline: correct technique, correct posture, marching technique (crab marching), and proper care and maintenance of marching drums.
Reports directly to the Rockville High School Director of Bands.
Hourly Rate: $16.94/hr
