Social Worker – Vernon Center Middle School

The Administration is seeking a person qualified by education and experience to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral well‑being by providing counseling, interventions, and resources to help them succeed academically and personally. They collaborate with families, teachers, and community organizations to address challenges and create a positive, inclusive school environment.

• Connecticut State Certification as a Social Worker (#071).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Master's Degree in Social Work.

The salary range for the 2026‑27 school year is per contract, with a competitive benefits package. Please see attached contract for details.
