Location: Vernon Center Middle School, Vernon, Connecticut
Job DescriptionProvide counseling, interventions, and resources to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral well‑being, enabling academic and personal success. Collaborate with families, teachers, and community organizations to address challenges and create a positive and inclusive school environment.
Responsibilities- Support students with counseling and behavioral interventions.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and community partners.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive school environment.
Certification/License: Connecticut State Certification as a Social Worker (#071)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Master's Degree in Social Work.
The salary range for the 2026-27 school year is per contract with a competitive benefits package. Please see the attached contract for details, including insurance information.
