Position Title

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour

Position Summary

Tender Hands LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high‑quality, person‑centered care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate is committed to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life while assisting clients with daily living activities in a respectful and professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
    • Bathing
    • Dressing
    • Grooming
    • Toileting
    • Mobility and transfers
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding when necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping, including:
    • Laundry
    • Dishwashing
    • Vacuuming
    • Changing bed linens
    • General tidying of the client’s living area
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with medication reminders (as permitted by state regulations and company policy).
  • Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
  • Follow individualized care plans and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect client privacy.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and report incidents immediately.
Qualifications Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
  • Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with client care.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred).
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Current CNA certification in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of one year of caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely assist clients with transfers and mobility.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred).
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
