Job Details- Growth opportunity for a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice RN (APRN) in a Neurosurgery setting
- Unique, 1:1 training with neurosurgeons to ensure professional development and clinical excellence
- Involvement in a Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program including the use of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) treatment for movement disorders
- Both clinic and OR time, including 1st Assist for cranial and spine procedures
- Work alongside a team of advanced practitioners with extensive Neurosurgery experience
- Join an established practice and staff dedicated to providing thorough, patient-centered care
- Full-time schedule with four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday; hours may vary based on case load
- No call requirements and no weekend obligations
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's program preferred
- Must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or APRN in the state of Connecticut
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an APRN required
- RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) certification required for APRNs
- Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or Orthopedic setting; 1st Assist in OR preferred
