Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Job Summary:

Vernon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a renowned provider of Skilled Nursing, Short-Term & Long-Term Care, and Rehabilitation Services, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas of our facility, providing a comfortable and safe environment for our residents and staff.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment
  :
  Dust and polish surfaces, wash floors, walls, windows, and other high areas, and perform other routine cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Restock essential items
  :
  Refill toilet supply containers, soap and paper towel dispensers, and ensure that housekeeping storage closets are organized and locked at all times.
• Move heavy objects and furniture
  :
  Move furniture, equipment, and housekeeping supplies as needed, and assist with other physical tasks.
• Request supplies and maintain inventory
  :
  Request supplies as needed and ensure that all materials are in adequate supply and properly marked.

• 1 year of experience in a similar role
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including every other weekend

Cross training to assist in the laundry department when needed is required.
