Job Description
Rockville Technology, LLC. is a family owned, fast-paced machining services and fabrication company focused on creation nonferrous machine parts primarily forthe US Aerospace and Defense Industry. We're looking to bring on a Quality Engineer at our location in Vernon, CT.

The Position:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, in this role youwill be responsible for:
- Support all outgoing Quality Inspection requirements (End of line inspection);
- Collects data from the checking fixture according to the control plan;
- Identify potential causes for process variation;
- Develop CMM programs for completed assemblies and component parts;
- Assist in the performance ofgauge studies;
- Inspection of close tolerance parts, using CMM programs and precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Develop programs from blueprints,CAD models and operation sheets;
- Ability to work with operators,engineering and varying and changing shop schedules;
- Support 1st piece Quality(buy-off) Inspection of all in-process components and sub-assemblies;
- Responsible for all incoming
Supplier Documentation (review and storage); - Proactively supports the ISO process approach to quality management and the Rockville Technology MRPsystem;
- Generates non-conforming material reports and effectively communicates these both verbally and in written form.
- Calibrates shop and personal tools.
About You:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required;
Associate’s in Engineering or related field is preferred; - Effectively communicate via verbal,handwritten and electronic documents.
- Strong attention to detail;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ability to create documents, reports and briefing materials in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work effectively in ateam environment as well as independently;
- Demonstrates strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects;
- Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently to manage workload;
- Conceptual Skills, Verbal Communication, Attention to Detail, Judgment;
- Ability to handle multiple taskswith tight deadlines;
- Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvement;
- 3+ years of CMM programming experience using PCDMIS or CAMEO software in a high-speed machining environment.
- Must be a USCitizen. Must comply with EAR regulations and site SSA requirements.
