Advanced Practitioners - Other Specialties

• Provide outpatient Movement Disorder services as part of a multidisciplinary team, working with fellowship-trained movement disorders neurologists and other consultants.
• Deliver care for a complex patient population including conditions such as essential tremors, restless legs syndrome, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease.
• Conduct initial diagnostic and follow-up visits through shared patient encounters with the attending physician.
• Participate in a fully integrated, comprehensive Movement Disorders program that incorporates clinical research and education.
• Receive extensive training through ongoing shared patient visits with the attending physician.
• Monday through Friday schedule with very light office call responsibilities.
• Supported by the Office of Advanced Practice and the Office of Provider Wellness for professional development and well-being.
• Eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) required.
• Experience as an Advanced Practitioner, particularly within neurology, is preferred.
