Rockville General Hospital is seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close‑knit, collaborative team. The Advanced Practice group works cohesively to deliver high‑quality inpatient care and is excited to welcome a new provider as we continue to grow and expand. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice in a smaller, community‑focused setting while maintaining a wide clinical scope and autonomy with room for professional growth.

Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with practice physicians, Advanced Practitioners perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients. In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, they develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referrals to other health team members or specialists. Advanced Practitioners provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider’s practice as designated by protocols and identify problems outside their scope of practice, referring appropriately to a physician.
Qualifications- Licensure:
Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible) - Training:
Certified or board‑eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care‑certified) - Experience:
1+ year of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting
