The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Inpatient Geriatric Unit provides high-quality patient-centered care for individuals with dual diagnoses. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.

• Pay: Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus
• Location: Vernon, CT
• Facility: Manchester Memorial Hospital
• Department/Unit: Inpatient Geriatric Unit
• Schedule: Part Time, Night shift

• Provide direct and indirect patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate regularly about the patient's clinical condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
• Create and maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Promote the profession of nursing through collegial support and interactions.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

• Experience in behavioral health preferred

• Current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut
• BLS certification required upon hire
• CPI and de-escalation techniques certification within 3 months of hire
