- Part Time - Saturday to Sunday - 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Part Time - Saturday to Sunday - 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Part Time - Saturday to Sunday - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Competitive hourly wage of $37.50 / hour

- Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.
- Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.
- Maintain a clean motor vehicle record, as you may be required to operate a company vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.
- Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be 21 years old or older.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
- Have a state security license (CT state Blue Card) valid armed endorsement.
- Prior law enforcement, military or relevant security experience: minimum 5 years as law enforcement, or career military, or other security agencies.
- Have a minimum of six (6) months of armed work experience which may include military and/or law enforcement experience.
- Pass an LEAI Assessment (62% or higher).
- Pass government-required live‑fire testing and meet minimum scores as established by the state of Connecticut.
- Complete a standard NRA course of fire with 80% proficiency.
- Pass standard GWSS employee physical.
- Pass modified agility exam including lifting, moving, and flexibility testing. (The Kraus Weber Test)
- Pass a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) based on agility, walking, running and lifting.
- Current or ability to attain all necessary immunizations.
- Provide personally owned duty weapon (9mm caliber handgun & three magazines of a minimum 10‑round capacity).
- Complete certification to carry an approved less‑lethal alternative. (OC Spray)
- Pass an extensive screening process.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Clean motor vehicle record and ability to operate a security vehicle.
- Ability to respond to high‑pressure situations with professionalism and calmness.
- First aid certification is an asset.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
