WWPS is seeking multiple highly skilled and motivated Construction Managers to join our growing Data Center Construction Management team supporting multiple large scale data center facilities across Texas.
We are actively hiring Construction Managers with strong field leadership experience across electrical, mechanical, utilities, and mission critical infrastructure scopes.
Current needs include Construction Managers with an electrical background for data center electrical gear in the Central Main Distribution Area, as well as Construction Managers with experience supporting Water Treatment Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Fire Protection Station, Mechanical Yard, and Electrical Yard scopes.
Ideal candidates will have familiarity with large equipment and complex building systems such as chillers, compressors, pumps, air handlers, switch gear, PLCs, and related utility infrastructure. Commissioning, startup, turnover, or integrated systems testing experience is a strong plus.
WWPS is also seeking a Night Shift Construction Manager to provide field oversight, contractor coordination, safety leadership, and schedule support during off shift construction activities.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for direct, on site oversight of construction execution, providing leadership in safety, schedule performance, quality, and field coordination. Reporting to the Senior Construction Manager and Project Management leadership, this role ensures general contractors and trade partners deliver to the highest standards of safety, productivity, and technical excellence.
The Construction Manager acts as the Owner's on site representative, managing the daily flow of field activities, driving accountability among contractors, identifying and mitigating risk early, and ensuring delivery of mission critical infrastructure on schedule and within scope.
Local candidates are preferred; however, highly qualified candidates open to relocation or travel work with per-diem will be considered.
Responsibilities:Field Leadership & Execution
- Serve as the primary on site field leader representing the Owner's interests, ensuring construction activities are executed in alignment with project goals, schedule milestones, and quality standards.
- Maintain a visible presence in the field, conducting daily site walks to proactively identify safety concerns, coordination issues, technical constraints, or schedule risks before they escalate.
- Provide field oversight for assigned discipline scopes, which may include electrical distribution, central main distribution areas, mechanical yards, electrical yards, water treatment systems, wastewater treatment systems, fire protection infrastructure, and major equipment installation.
- Support construction execution involving large scale data center equipment and systems such as chillers, compressors, pumps, air handlers, switch gear, PLCs, and related utility infrastructure.
- Drive a culture of behavioral based safety. Conduct daily safety walks and collaborate with general contractors to uphold a world class safety culture.
- Coordinate and facilitate daily and weekly progress meetings with general contractors, trade partners, commissioning teams, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure proper communication and escalation of key field issues to project management and executive leadership.
- Monitor construction progress daily against the general contractor's integrated P6 schedule to validate that work aligns with critical path activities.
- Track and report weekly field productivity metrics such as labor units, installed quantities, weld inches, linear footage, equipment setting progress, and discipline specific installation milestones.
