CES Credit Union in Mount Vernon, OH is looking to hire a full‑time Head Teller – Lead Customer Service Rep to provide assistance to our members and leadership to our banking staff.
This banking position earns a competitive wage of $18.00 to $19.00 per hour

ResponsibilitiesAs a Head Teller – Lead Customer Service Rep, you ensure members are satisfied by showing staff how to provide excellent service. You train new tellers on policies and procedures, assist members with financial requests, and explain loan and credit options. You proactively offer additional lending products and savings tools, remain calm in complaints, and use analytical problem‑solving skills to resolve issues.
You handle vault teller duties, count, package, and control money, and complete night deposits. You perform administrative tasks such as reviewing legal documents, obtaining credit histories, and compiling forms.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lending and cash handling experience
- Customer service and sales experience
- Experience in a leadership role
- Proficiency with administrative tasks such as data entry and record management
- Ability to use office equipment including fax machines, printers, and adding machines
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Excellent math skills
Previous banking experience is a plus.
ScheduleMonday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm;
Saturday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Salary: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour.
