Overview
Description Vernon Independent School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher for Vernon Middle School. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with campus staff to support students with special learning needs, implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide a positive, structured learning environment that promotes student success.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with campus staff to support students with special learning needs.
- Implement IEPs for students and monitor progress toward IEP goals.
- Provide a positive, structured learning environment that promotes student success.
- Maintain effective classroom management and instructional practices to support diverse learners.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education (or eligible for certification).
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to meeting the academic and social needs of all students.
