Primary
Purpose:
Provide students with instruction in Government and Economics in accordance with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate Social Studies certification
Knowledge of subject matter and instructional strategies
Ability to manage student behavior and maintain classroom discipline
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver effective instruction in Government and Economics
Evaluate and document student academic progress
Establish and maintain a positive learning environment
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Comply with district and state policies and procedures
