Essential

Job Functions (EJFs):

Evaluates and monitors compliance within the admissions departmental procedures regarding scheduling with Counties for Maximum Security Units (MSU) and Adolescent Forensic Programs (AFP). Coordinates admissions in relation to incoming Facility Review Board referrals and inter‑unit transfers. Maintains expected MSU and AFP census and up to date on all statues and policies consistently. Forwards appropriate correspondence relating to admissions to all stakeholders involved.

Prepare, evaluate, and process commitment documents to ensure validity. Processes include running CARE histories, individual's demographic, AvatarPM data entry, electronic card file, and Admissions Bulletin Board posting outlining the admission schedule. Analyze and disseminate correspondence to Central Administration/Legal Department regarding the legality of questionable commitments or unusual circumstances.

Evaluates admission criteria and documents required for both the adult MSU and the Adolescent Forensic Program (AFP), with a heavy emphasis on AFP.
