Job Functions (EJFs):
Attends work on a regular basis and may be asked to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
Performs x-ray diagnostic routine exams/procedures and operates radiological equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes as ordered by facility providers. Utilizes the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) applications Viztek & One Pacs to transmit studies for interpretation by radiologists.
Utilizes the electronic medical record to coordinate with nursing, medical staff, and clinic staff to ensure that appropriate preparatory procedures are performed. Greets individuals upon arrival, assists with gathering pertinent information needed for the medical appointment. Assists with transporting the individual to and from ancillary departments within the clinic. Keeps x-ray & EKG exam rooms clean, organized and stocked with appropriate supplies.
