As an Automotive Technician ,you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined below some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician at Linus Cadillac Buick GMC.
Salary based on experience and certifications
Responsibilities:
*Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine repair, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
* Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation, inspections, and fluid service
* Use hand tools and power tools, and diagnostic equipment to trouble shoot vehicle issues
* Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service information
* Provide accurate repair estimates and document work preformed
* Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards
* Maintain clean , safe and organized work area
* Communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns and recommended repairs
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
* Gm and /or Diesel engine experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of engine repairs and powertrain systems
* Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics
* Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
ASE certification recommended
Valid drivers license

Pay up to $45.00 per hour based on experience
Basic MS office knowledge: computer software and internet proficiency
