Linus Cadillac Buick GMC is seeking an skilled Automotive Technician with a positive attitude and a aptitude to properly diagnose and repair todays vehicles to join our team. Must have experience with a strong focus on GM Vehicles and Diesel engine repair. This is a full time position.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined below some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician at Linus Cadillac Buick GMC.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine repair, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation, inspections, and fluid service
- Use hand tools and power tools, and diagnostic equipment to trouble shoot vehicle issues
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service information
- Provide accurate repair estimates and document work performed
- Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards
- Maintain clean, safe and organized work area
- Communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns and recommended repairs
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Gm and /or Diesel engine experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of engine repairs and powertrain systems
- Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- ASE certification recommended
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic MS office knowledge: computer software and internet proficiency
- Willingness to learn and grow within our company
- Full Time
- Pay up to $45.00 per hour based on experience
