Palmdale is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Call Center team. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and looking to contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. Palmdale currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors.

Operating out of 20 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, propane, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets.

Palmdale Oil is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Vero Beach who will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries and concerns with a focus on delivering exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting customer retention. This position requires strong multitasking skills, as the representative will be expected to handle incoming phone calls while navigating computer systems and managing various tasks at their workstation.

The ideal candidate is a dependable communicator with a customer-first mindset and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Solves customer service issues with the goal of customer satisfaction and customer retention.
• Heavy inbound phone calls while navigating multiple software platforms and managing various tasks.
• Answers phone calls and responds to all customer inquiries including pricing, billing, documenting complaints and setting up new orders.
• Accurately maintains customer data, transactions, and information through accurate data entry and monitoring (including propane tank information.)
• Prospect for potential leads and follow up inquiries via phone and email.
• Clearly explain the features and benefits of different programs and make suitable suggestions based on customer needs.

• Moderate knowledge in Microsoft office and windows-based applications.
• Must have strong organizational skills as well as be extremely detailed oriented.
• Must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Must have professional telephone manners
• Must be resourceful and a good problem-solver
• Must have a driven motivation for sales.
• Ability to multi-task under high-pressure situations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, customers and the general public.
• This position operates from the Vero Beach office at a desk.
