Job Description ## This position supports students from agricultural and farm worker backgrounds by providing comprehensive career and educational assistance. Under minimal supervision, the role delivers career exploration and counseling, coordinates one-stop services and referrals, administers financial and supportive services, and connects students with training opportunities and potential employers. The position also partners with community agencies and employers, maintains required documentation and reports, and supports program planning to ensure students can successfully pursue education, training, and employment.

* JOB SUMMARY:

** Under minimal supervision, this position provides assistance to students who (themselves or family members) work in agriculture. Duties include; providing career exploration opportunities and career counseling; providing one stop servicing by handling referrals, conducting assessments, and providing fiscal support; and identifying program resources for matching students with potential employers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Recruits new students. (14%)
* Provides career counseling to include conducting assessment; determining eligibility; conducting in-take interviews; addressing barriers to participation; determining the need for support services; and assigning to the appropriate status. (11%)
* Provides assistance to students with tuition, textbooks, exams, GED, uniforms, tools, and any other assistance; registers students; manages payments; and keeps records of payments. (10%)
