Job Description

Do you bring out the star in your students? Our motto at Taylor Robinson Music is "Learn to Play From the Heart", and we are looking for private music instructors who share the same philosophy! We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Piano. We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio in the Vero Beach, FL area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP! Lessons can occur in the students' homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. While webcam lessons are only a small portion of our base, most students prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors willing to travel within the Vero Beach area.

You will be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour, depending on travel time, your experience/education, and student retention rate. The role offers flexibility; you set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. Taylor Robinson Music handles advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing, allowing you to focus on music.

We seek candidates who are great with kids, love teaching, communicate well with our office, and are organized and punctual. Formal music training is not mandatory, but you must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.

If you meet these qualifications and want to learn more, apply at .

COVID‑19 Precautions

Students typically prefer in‑person lessons. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
