Make a Difference in a Student's Life in Just 1–2 Hours Per Week!
Octavian Village is seeking dedicated volunteer tutors to support middle school students in grades 5–8 through our virtual math enrichment program.
This is a great opportunity for college students, future educators, STEM majors, pre‑med students, and professionals looking to give back to their community.
Virtual tutoring sessionsCommitment: 1–2 hours per week
Fall Program:
September 2026 – May 2027
Sessions held Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
45-minute sessions between 3:30 PM – 5:15 PM EST
Example tutoring times:
- 3:30 PM – 4:15 PM
- 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM
Work one‑on‑one with a middle school student
Support students in grades 5–8 with math concepts and problem‑solving
Build positive relationships and encourage academic confidence
Help students develop strong mathematical thinking skills
We Provide- Lesson plans and instructional materials
- Ongoing support and guidance
Reliable and dependable
Passion for helping students succeed
Background in education, mathematics, STEM, healthcare, or related fields preferred but not required
