• Act as a positive role model.
• Work with team members to ensure fun and engaging environment for children as well as peers.
• Prepare and organize daily activities to engage the students.
• Establish and maintain classroom rules and environment conducive to learning and studying.
• Assist with maintaining accurate attendance records for each student in attendance.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Auxiliary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year of related experience.
• Must be extremely confidential and self‑motivated with proven communication skills.
• Must be computer literate and have a desire to learn.
• Have a willingness to be flexible and the desire to serve the entire school constituency.
• Extreme attention to detail is required.
• Must have good people skills.
• Ability to follow through tasks to completion.
• Must have work experience in a supervisory capacity.

• Must be physically able to age appropriately address the needs of the students for example; lifting small children, assisting with their physical needs, and maintaining control of the classroom; especially if left in total supervision of the classroom.
• Work primarily in a traditional climate‑controlled classroom environment, with flexibility to also work intermittently in outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Have ability to lift, move, push/pull up to 50 pounds if necessary.
• Must be able to operate office equipment.
• Ability to move around campus, inside and outside, to observe program.
