Overview
Piper Aircraft is seeking motivated and dedicated engineering students to join our Product Development team for a hands-on internship experience. As part of a passionate group pushing the boundaries of general aviation, youll gain exposure to real-world projects that directly impact the next generation of Piper aircraft.

What Youll Do
  • Support the design, analysis, and testing of new aircraft systems and structures
  • Assist in 3D CAD modeling, drafting, and documentation using industry-standard tools
  • Participate in engineering reviews and cross-functional collaboration
  • Contribute to prototyping and validation activities
  • Help identify design improvements and support continuous innovation in our product line
The specifics of your work will vary based on the skills you have and which phase of the product development lifecycle we are in during your internship.

Who You Are
  • A current student pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field (Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with CAD tools such as Siemens NX or similar and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A team player with excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Passionate about aviation, aircraft design, and hands-on engineering work
