Step into a meaningful role supporting students for the upcoming academic year as a School Psychologist. Working part-time—approximately 15 hours each week—you’ll serve multiple school sites in the area, providing vital assessment, consultation, and intervention services that foster positive academic and social outcomes for students.
In this contract position, your expertise will be instrumental as you collaborate with staff and families to identify student needs and guide the implementation of effective supports. You will be engaged in both direct service and team-based problem solving, making a tangible impact on student growth throughout the school year.
Qualifications and experience desired:- Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) for the state
- Demonstrated experience conducting psycho educational evaluations
- Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as required
- Experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and interpreting test results
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student learning and behavior needs
- Contributing to the development and review of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Crisis intervention, as needed, and referral to appropriate resources
- Supporting behavioral and academic interventions
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
