What You Will Do

• Assess residents with speech, language, cognitive or swallowing issues. Track progress and adjust therapy plans based on their needs.
• Work with residents who have trouble speaking, understanding, or swallowing. Use exercises and techniques to help improve communication and safe eating.
• Document progress, challenges, and improvements in the medical record and communicate updates to the clinical team.

What We Are Looking For

• Active and clear SLP license in the State of Florida
• Must be competent in the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia, including bedside swallowing assessments, development of individualized treatment plans, and implementation of evidence based swallowing interventions.
