The Resident Assistant is responsible for assuring that residents' needs are being met in a safe, secure, and clean environment while exhibiting core values - Service, Integrity, Dignity, Excellence, and Teamwork.
Primary Responsibilities- Understand and agrees with Sodalis Senior Living philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality or care and quality of life.
- Provides direct care and activities of daily living to residents. These tasks can include, but are not limited to:
Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting and Engagement. - Maintains necessary health and wellness records for resident, both in paper and electronic format.
- Performs daily household tasks according to the shift task list, including but not limited to laundry and pousekeeping.
- Prepares and serves meals as needed.
- Assists residents with meals as needed.
- Reports any concerns or needs to management.
- Adheres to and implements Sodalis Senior Living resident policies and procedures.
- Trains and mentors new staff members.
- Attends any and all mandatory meetings.
- Communicates with Team Leader, Health and Wellness Director, and Management regarding any physical, mental, or social changes in condition to residents including but not limited to medications, bruises, cuts, sores, and potential health problems.
- Communicates with family members.
- Greets visitors and gives marketing tours in the absence of management.
- Reports any abuse or neglect of residents. All employees are required by law to report abuse and neglect.
- Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.

Experience 1 year:Caregiving experience in settings such as Assisted Living or Senior Living facilities is a plus.
