John’s Island Club, a premier private club, is seeking a detail-oriented HR Employment Coordinator to support the employment lifecycle, with a primary focus on HR records, data entry, and file management. This full-time, year-round role maintains employee documentation, onboarding records, and HRIS data accuracy while assisting with recruitment and HR administrative operations. Key Responsibilities:- First point of contact for applicants, candidates, and employees; directs inquiries appropriately.
- Processes new hires/rehire paperwork, background checks, and drug screenings.
- Coordinates pre-boarding and onboarding activities.
- Manages I-9 documentation and E-Verify cases; tracks work authorization expirations.
- Schedules and coordinates new hire orientation.
- Enters and maintains employee data (hires, terms, status/pay changes) in HR/Payroll systems.
- Tracks driver credentials and licenses; notifies of expirations.
- Supports recognition programs and reward distribution.
- Reconciles invoices related to job function
- Maintains adequate levels of HR forms, packages, and postings.
- Maintains personnel files, HR forms, postings, and confidentiality.
- Provides administrative support and records maintenance for seasonal staffing.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and discretion of all employee information.
- Provides general administrative assistance for HR team.
- Advanced skills and experience with high-volume data entry and records management.
- Skills and experience in the use of computers, databases, and word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and typing speed of ~50 WPM, with accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of Human Resources functions, as typically demonstrated by 1-2 years of experience.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy, and strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred. insuran
