Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Vero Beach, FL, is seeking a Production Technician 1, to join our team. Pay Rate:
Competitive hourly rate depending on the shift

Shift /

Hours:

1st Shift;
Monday - Saturday @7:00am to 3:30pm, possible weekend work (If needed)

• Emptying or filling 55‑gallon drums
• Assembling, packing, and stacking boxes
• Wrapping pallets with shrink wrap
• Operating machinery
• Unloading fruit from trucks
• "Grading" or sorting fruit
• Labeling
• Ensuring equipment is functioning safely
• Logging activities daily
• Setting up production area with appropriate materials
• General cleaning

• Notifies supervisor of unusual problems
• Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures
• Follows health and safety guidelines, maintaining work area according to cGMP

• Comply with all Plant, State, and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations
• Conduct verification activities to assure finished product complies with food safety and quality specifications
• Participate in yearly review of the food safety system
• Assist in maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system
• Responsible for Non‑GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards

Position reports to Shift Manager.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bi‑lingual in English and Spanish helpful
