Job Title:
Project Manager
Coordinate with Management and other Stakeholders to implement new or modified products from design concept to production implementation. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and maintenance of requirements documents, schedules, manpower resource requirements and loading charts, budgets, risk, issues, opportunities, and other such management tools for the execution of assigned projects.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within aircraft design & manufacturing. Relies on the instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Essential Job Functions- Initiate, plan, execute, control and close assigned projects
- Conduct meetings and group decision making process
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team
- Keep Management and others informed about project status and issues
- Create program presentations & briefings
- Develop and maintain project governing documents

- Create and maintain integrated project schedules including coordination of resources
- Maintains oversight of assigned projects to ensure they remain within scope, schedule and budget parameters
- Track and report cost and schedule performance
- Interface with vendors, ensuring necessary procurement of parts and materials for specific projects
- Prepares technical reports
- Perform other related duties as required
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. May be required to train and assist other employees, effectively partnering and collaborating on department and cross-functional organizational initiatives.
Minimum Position QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and ExperienceBasic:
- BA/BS in business/STEM field or equivalent
- 2-3 years of project management/coordination experience
Preferred:
- Degree in an Engineering or Business with Aeronautical/Aerospace discipline
- General knowledge and skills associated with cross functional coordination in areas of design engineering, methodization, manufacturing planning, production control, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, aircraft fabrication and assembly and quality management, testing and certification functions.
Requires comprehensive knowledge of Windows based computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

Interacts regularly with various staff and employees, and occasionally with vendors, suppliers, community members and regulatory agency representatives.
Travel and overtime are required when necessary.
