About This Role

The RN – Special Procedures at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital provides exceptional care to patients undergoing various procedures. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to enhancing patient experiences.

• Location: Vero Beach, FL
• Facility: Indian River Hospital
• Schedule: Part-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
