RN BU - Cardiac Stepdown

About This Role

As an RN in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, you will provide direct nursing care to patients requiring telemetry and medical attention. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers looking to make a lasting impact while working in a collaborative environment.

• Schedule:
  
  Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, with weekend and holiday requirements

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
