RN – Care Unit

About This Role

As an RN in the Additional Care Unit at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, you will provide direct nursing care to cardiac patients, monitor their conditions, and implement care plans. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers looking to enhance their nursing skills in a collaborative environment.

• Location: Vero Beach, FL
• Facility: Indian River Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
