RN Pre Op/PACU

The Advanced Center for Surgery is a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Vero Beach, Florida, performing outpatient procedures in orthopedics and neurology. We are an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International and are dedicated to high‑quality surgical services for our community.

The Pre Op/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients. The nurse continuously evaluates the patient’s condition, ensures safety, comfort, and privacy, assists physicians with procedures (including conscious sedation), and delivers comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to prep patients and their families for discharge.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in Florida.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS if required by the center.
• Two years of experience in PACU or critical care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
