• Manage the practice of professional nursing and delivery of nursing care on an assigned unit.
• Establish clinical direction of nursing care and provide clinical supervision.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care.
• Develop quality initiatives and implement policies and procedures.
• Maintain adherence to JCAHO and other regulatory standards.
• Analyze personnel structure and determine staffing needs.
• Provide direction and supervision, evaluate performance, and conduct selection processes.
• Actively promote staff and self-development.
• Participate in clinical nursing research and support foundation research activities.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of the budget.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required

Experience:

• Three years of recent clinical nursing experience including at least one year of healthcare management experience required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
