Assistant Nurse Manager - CVOR and Vascular Surgery

As an Assistant Nurse Manager on the CVOR and Vascular Surgery team, you will support patients during treatment while fostering a collaborative environment for caregivers. This role is ideal for an RN looking to advance into a leadership position with a focus on professional development and quality patient care.

• Location: Vero Beach, FL
• Facility: Indian River Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations.
• Provide effective and efficient patient care to all ages on assigned shifts.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among unit caregivers and other departments.
• Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts.
• Coordinate patient admitting, discharges, transfers, and other operational issues.
• Review major operational patient care issues with Nurse Managers.
• Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of caregivers and counsel on performance issues.
• Interview, select, and orient new caregivers.
• Monitor adherence to EEO/AAP goals and guidelines.
• Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts.

Education:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Experience:

• 2+ years of recent clinical nursing experience required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
