RN - Special Procedures

About This Role

As an RN in the Special Procedures team at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, you will deliver exceptional care to outpatients and some inpatients undergoing various procedures. • Location: Vero Beach, FL
• Facility: Indian River Hospital
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
