RN BU - Cardiac Cath Lab

About This Role

As an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, you will provide care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations. This role is ideal for those who are familiar with complex medical histories and innovative surgical procedures.

• Location: Vero Beach, FL
• Facility: Indian River Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required.

• One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting OR licensed military RN experience required.
• Two years of critical care experience preferred.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or ALS through the American Red Cross upon hire or within one year of employment required.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.
