Sales Support Associate Job Description

Responsibilities- Cash Wrap:
- Greet customers with a smile, maintain eye contact, and offer your name.
- Engage genuinely with customers and read their cues to determine needs.
- Conduct email/name capture when permitted by law.
- Operate POS accurately and maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness.
- Suggest add‑ons and sell gift cards.
- Maintain cash and POS media in compliance with Coach policy.
- Thank customers sincerely and provide reasons for return.
- Represent the Coach brand appropriately.
- Stockroom / Warehouse:
- Receive shipments and transfers.
- Notify store management of new product arrivals.
- Scan cartons/transfers, verifying store information.
- Communicate discrepancies and process shipments per Coach standards.
- Organize and clean the stockroom daily, including remote warehouses as needed.
- Shift and organize product to maintain sell‑through and room for new stock.
- Manage stock levels and product ownership in back‑of‑house and sales floor.
- Prepare and conduct cycle counts, and participate in scheduled inventory counts.
- Maintain Company Loss Prevention standards.
- Sales Floor:
- Analyze sales floor to assess replenishment needs.
- Replenish sales floor or assigned zone.
- React to sell‑through and execute visual merchandising.
- Support sales floor activities as directed.
- Communicate price points, features, benefits, color, and stock availability to customers.
- Respond to customer requests confidently; partner with sales team or store management when necessary.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Experience: 1‑3 years of retail experience (cashier, stock, sales) preferably in a luxury retail environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), use of walkie‑talkie, and ability to read price and product release sheets.
- Physical: Ability to execute at a fast pace, communicate effectively, maneuver sales floor and stockroom, lift up to 25 lbs routinely and occasional up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb, bend, and kneel.
- Schedule: Flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and high traffic sales days.
