Position Summary

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in the store's day-to-day operations, focusing on customer engagement, store functionality, and maintaining merchandising standards. They excel in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the shopping experience for customers. • Embrace the brands by wearing the brands at work and having a passion for the Lee and Wrangler products.
• Greets each customer and actively engages customers on the sales floor by asking open-ended questions.
• Assists customers in the fitting room and suggests the best products for their needs.
• Follows all company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
• React quickly to all customers and/or associate injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
• Follows visual merchandising standards for the store.
• Promotes a store culture that respects background and encourages participation, creativity, and learning.
• Continuously looks for ways to make the store sustainable and recognize its environmental impact.

• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Previous retail or service-oriented experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with a team to exceed sales results.
• Comfortable approaching and initiating conversation with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs; will require weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Operate office equipment and technology such as cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.
• Stand during scheduled shifts for up to 8 hours.
• Walk and move to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Lift and carry, with ability to move up to 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Push or pull full racks of merchandise for restocking.
• Reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform manual labor occasionally to assemble displays or rearrange store layout.
• Read labels accurately and assist customers; tasks requiring attention to detail.
• Use fine motor skills to sort, organize clothing, and place on hangers or fold.

• Compensation: $14.00 (or minimum wage) – $15.65 / hour for all states except New York and Colorado; $15.50 / hour in those states.
