Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. You may also work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salaryand Schedule Details
- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.00 to $16.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
- Hallmark part‑time employees receive voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, etc.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 9–14 hours per week
. - Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required
. - Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficient with a digital handheld device to open/read documents and interpret information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
